Montessori in the Park Enrollment Policy

Montessori School Enrollment Policy

Montessori in the Park welcomes students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnicity.

Chronological Age Versus Readiness

Montessori values each child’s uniqueness; because of this, Montessori schools may place students according to readiness, not age. The aim is always to place the child in the environment best suited to serving the developmental needs of the individual child.

Enrollment Priority

A Priority enrollment period is given to current students, their siblings, and to alumni families, (in that order) during the Month of February. New Student open enrollment begins in March for August enrollment.

Disenrollment

Parents may withdraw their child at any time for any reason. Parents may be asked to withdraw their child if the school determines that the program is not meeting the child’s needs, or if the child or family’s presence is having an adverse effect upon the program and/or other children. Please contact the school with any questions or concerns.

If you are interested in enrolling please take a moment to read through our 2017-2018 MIP Family Handbook.
