MIP offers Pre-Primary, Primary and Elementary education from August through May. The Pre-Primary Program serves children ages 18 months to 3 years, the Primary Program serves children 3 to 6 years, and the Elementary Program serves children ages 6 to 12 years. The overlap in ages is intentional as it allows for the children to be placed into the appropriate classroom based upon their social and developmental readiness, not just their age.

3-Hour Work Cycle

A work cycle consists of selecting a work, doing it, achieving some internal satisfaction from the process, clean up and then selecting another work. The three-hour work cycle gives children the time they need to fully submerge themselves in their work. This submersion into work develops concentration, coordination, order and independence of the child.
